On Saturday 22 January, Antoni Maiovvi is the guest of Mirage team and he will be hosted at Yoga Bala, always supported by Outro.

Antoni Maiovvi is the nom de plume of British music producer Anton Maiof, who is located in Berlin the last few years. His productions are obviously influenced by Italian horror films soundtracks, HiNRG music and italo. Antoni Maiovvi shows his admiration through his music to Goblin, Tangerine Dream, Patrick Cowley, John Carpenter and creates images akin to Dario Argento’s film scenes.

His DJ set promises an eccentric but absolutely dancefloor killer cosmic disco. Antoni Maiovvi has releases to the labels of Seed, Caravan, Cyber Dance and Fright, Kompakt’s sister label. The second party of Mirage has greed as theme and, against the hard conditions of the time, will be full of luxury and excess with the sexiest horror and cosmic disco.

The party will start with Methi (Mirage resident DJ), who has played with lots of artists from abroad, most recently with Telonius and Artur8 from KDMS, but also in the past with Bottin, Black Devil Disco Club, JBAG, Punks Jump Up, Cassius, AutoKratz and also with Steve Strange of the legendary Visage in Blitz Remixed event in London. Right after Antoni Maiovvi, Technicolor will show us for one more time what horror disco means and how well he knows to excite the crowd with a flawless DJ set.

The event will start at 00:00 and admission is free.

Greed

Greed (Latin, avaritia), also known as avarice or covetousness, is, like lust and gluttony, a sin of excess. However, greed (as seen by the church) is applied to a very excessive or rapacious desire and pursuit of wealth, status, and power. St. Thomas Aquinas wrote that greed was "a sin against God, just as all mortal sins, in as much as man condemns things eternal for the sake of temporal things." In Dante's Purgatory, the penitents were bound and laid face down on the ground for having concentrated too much on earthly thoughts. "Avarice" is more of a blanket term that can describe many other examples of greedy behavior. These include disloyalty, deliberate betrayal, or treason,especially for personal gain, for example through bribery . Scavenging and hoarding of materials or objects, theft and robbery, especially by means of violence, trickery, or manipulation of authority are all actions that may be inspired by greed. Such misdeeds can include simony, where one profits from soliciting goods within the actual confines of a church.

As defined outside of Christian writings, greed is an inordinate desire to acquire or possess more than one needs or deserves, especially with respect to material wealth.
