The last Mirage party of the season will be Thursday, July 7 on the Pride, the mother of all sins. Ideal venue could not be different from 8th Sin Gazi.

Methi (Mirage resident DJ) will be on decks all night long with italo, horror, sexy boogie and electro disco celebrating the completion of all 7 sins.

Methi who has played with lots of artists from abroad, most recently with Massimiliano Pagliara, Marcello Giordani, Franz Underwear, Antoni Maiovvi, Matt Moroder, Telonius and Artur8 from KDMS, but also in the past with Bottin, Black Devil Disco Club, JBAG, Punks Jump Up, Cassius, AutoKratz and also with Steve Strange of the legendary Visage in Blitz Remixed event in London.

Pride

In almost every list pride (Latin, superbia), or hubris, is considered the original and most serious of the seven deadly sins, and the source of the others. It is identified as a desire to be more important or attractive than others, failing to acknowledge the good work of others, and excessive love of self (especially holding self out of proper position toward God). Dante's definition was "love of self perverted to hatred and contempt for one's neighbour." In Jacob Bidermann's medieval miracle play, Cenodoxus, pride is the deadliest of all the sins and leads directly to the damnation of the titulary famed Parisian doctor. In perhaps the best-known example, the story of Lucifer, pride (his desire to compete with God) was what caused his fall from Heaven, and his resultant transformation into Satan. In Dante's Divine Comedy, the penitents were forced to walk with stone slabs bearing down on their backs to induce feelings of humility.

Your punishment in Hell will be to be broken on the wheel.

Italian DJ and Producer, Marcello Giordani is invited by Mirage team on Friday the 20th of May at SKULL bar.

Marcello runs ITALO DEVIANCE, an extremely successful blog about obscure and italo disco, which also a label for this genre of music.

His DJ set is sexy, funny, warm and eclectic mixing fluently Italo, NY Disco, Chicago House and Nu Disco.

Along with Marcello Giordani will be Methi (Mirage resident DJ), who has played with lots of artists from abroad, most recently with Antoni Maiovvi, Matt Moroder, Telonius and Artur8 from KDMS, but also in the past with Bottin, Black Devil Disco Club, JBAG, Punks Jump Up, Cassius, AutoKratz and also with Steve Strange of the legendary Visage in Blitz Remixed event in London.

Recently, Freddy G was added to the lineup, who lives permanently in London and is a member of PEARL FLASH, another important and respected blog in the disco scene. Freddy G makes remixes and creates hiw own music under the name Luxury Living.

Marcello Giordani

 

Born in Parma (Italy), Marcello Giordani in 1992 started spinning the House music in clubs nearby his town and work on the most important Italian Club scenes. In 2006 started producing on labels like Dirt Crew, Mule Musiq, Boogie Farm and Radius, LIWM, Compost Black, Youngodds as "SuperSonic Lovers".

Since October 2008 is running a blog called ITALO DEVIANCE (full of obscure disco tracks and re edits) and the Italo Deviance Records.
Marcello is also djing a lot in the world (Berlin, Oslo, Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, London, Philadelphia, New York etc.).

His dj sets are warm, eclectic, funny and sexy! Spacing from Italo, NY Disco, Chicago House and Nu Disco.

Envy

Like greed, Envy (Latin, invidia) may be characterized by an insatiable desire; they differ, however, for two main reasons: First, greed is largely associated with material goods, whereas envy may apply more generally. Second, those who commit the sin of envy resent that another person has something they perceive themselves as lacking, and wish the other person to be deprived of it. Dante defined this as "a desire to deprive other men of theirs." Envy can be directly related to the Ten Commandments, specifically "Neither shall you desire... anything that belongs to your neighbour". In Dante's Purgatory, the punishment for the envious is to have their eyes sewn shut with wire because they have gained sinful pleasure from seeing others brought low. Aquinas described envy as "sorrow for another's good".

Envy is the desire for others' traits, status, abilities, or situation.

Your punishment in Hell will be to be put in freezing water.
